any motor is reliable with boost with a good tune..
it all depends on your setup and whats your running.

h22s arnt the best motors to boost but there have been alot of high hp boosted h motors cuz the engine was built. if you want a stock internal turbo motor, shoulda kept the d-series.

sleave the h22, low comp pistons, h23 rods ( think there stronger, correct me if im wrong) or fordged con rods. then slap a turbo on it and get a GOOD TUNE. :thumb:

most any engine runs ok on boost, depending on what year your h22 is depends on how itll like boost, supposedly the early h22's have steel liners in them like the b series engines theses are better for a boosted setup. the later 96 and newer engines have the FMR liners in them, there supposedly weak for boost and are not compatible with forged pistons, however the h22 dose benifit from a closed deck setup wich increases strength. my years maynot be exact but some popular tuning books have the same info in them...
