I just bought this turbo kit with intentions of changing some parts
my first question is about the wastegate:
what is this open part in my manifold? is this normal or an I missing a part in my setup, I plan on switching to a cast manifold because I've heard bad story's about these mannies... also it looks like the previous owner made this setion of the mannie himself (see next pic), is it right
aside from being a butcher job of welding, is this right?
I keep reading that you don't hook the vacuum line to his top valve but I can't see any other vacuum ports, is this the right one?
I seen he put a port on the turbo housing, is this for a vacuum line to the wastegate? if so is it fine to use or should I switch it to a intake side so I
don't have the issue of pressure drop in the intercooler
my final question is is this my oil return line? if so should I use braided lines like the other oil lines or will this be fine?
