hondata boost controller?

Is it needed or can i run my car with boost with out ir?

If you don't want it, you can run without it.

But wont the waste gate stop.me from high amount of boost?

Without a boost controller, it'll run at whatever spring rate you got in the wastegate..

Yes, depending on what you mean by high amounts of boost. You didn't give us any details of your setup. But yes, you can run your car with boost with out having Hondata boost control.

i didn't even think about this when i built my car about that im gonna have to get one and install it and i new that it wouldn't go pass the waste gate spring but someone told me it could harm the engine with out it i was just double checkig

Nah you don't need it unless you want to have the options listed on their page - adjust boost for each gear.

If you want to keep it simple, get a manual boost controller. Hallman makes a good one that isn't too pricey. I'm happy with my Hallman mbc. You won't be able to adjust on the fly while driving - get the psi where you want, get tuned and you're done. :thumb:

Sorry, no vaccum line going to the ECU to make that work :lol:
