Those with oil temprature gauges what are your temperatures?

Before with my T3 Super 60, my oil temps would be at a constant 210F.

After my new install with the GT2871R, my oil temps are around 190-195F for normal operating temperatures.

I'm curious what other's have for oil temperature, as I plan to relocate my oil filter and get an oil cooler soon.

I'm getting around 180 when cruising and 190-195 when beating on it.

JRSC B18c1 with stock oil cooler.

175°F normal... or spirited driving when it's less then 60°F outside.
195°F when beating it, or spirited driving over 60°F outside temp.

B16A2 with bolt ons.

So IMO, 190-195°F with a turboed car, that's really not bad at all!

What's your oil pressure?

my oil pressure readings on start up cold is around 80-90psi.. when it is warm it shows around 25psi..

I'm running 10W-40 Castrol Synblend.

I think the coolant part of my GT turbo helps alot!! I used to have 210F normal temps, then.. 240-260 pushing it hard. Now it seems that it is always hovering around 190-195F area and climbing to 210 once in awhile.. I know my radiator is doing alot more work though..

240-260 sounds high, but you should be good now. Also where is your gauge sensor located? Mine is right past my oil cooler. EX: Oilcooler ---> Oil filter sandwich w/ temp and pressure sensors ----> Oil filter.

Also I'm running Redline 10w30

Are you using an OEM cooler? I have it on my oil filter sandwich w/ temp and pressure sensor as well then oil filter. 260F isn't too high considering the turbo puts alot of stress on the components. I work at BMW and noticed that their temp gauge reaches 340F on their 335i. Normal operating temperatures are usually around 210 for the oil for them.

yeah some gsr's have a stock oil cooler. Normally the filter screwed on to it. But now my filter sandwich does.

I am planning on relocating the oil filter and running an aftermarket 19row oil cooler with a inline thermostat. Seeing where others are at in terms of normal operating temperatures so I can evaluate where I need to be.
