Thanks man! Not in any trouble yet lol.

Now my speedo decided to not work correctly. The first couple of weeks it was semi-fine. i noticed that it was 8-10 mph off at higher speeds. not a big deal. Well now it started reading completely wrong and jumping around. Grrr!!!

#350556 It's pretty bad when I'm starting to think about selling the gsr swapped '98 Civic to get kpro, better header, full 3" exhaust and an RBC intake. And maybe some IPS cams and hardware to match.

problem I am having though, is it's nice to have a semi quick back up daily if something happens to this lol.

Yeah. But other than using the '98 as a back up, I'm probably never going to drive it again. I'm sure some kid would love to abuse it and blow it up! :)

#351091 Nope. Just been driving it.

Probably won't be much updates until I can get kpro, an rbc intake, etc.

When I say it's my daily, I mean it lol. I really can't wait for spring/summer again. This "fresh from the swamp" look is getting old.

#351159 So, I'm kind of regretting being in a hurry to get this swap in and driving. And, running out of money towards the end.

First I said I was going to pull the head before dropping it in. I never did and had to do the head gasket AFTER I got it running. That has been documented.

I also said I was going to replace the tensioner. Well, I never did.

Why? I was running out of good weather. I was running out of money. And, I figured at 40k miles, it should be fine.

Well, I started hearing some chain noise. Actually, I've been hearing it for a couple of weeks. Friday it got a little more noticeable and Saturday it got to the point I knew I had to pull the valve cover. And I'm glad I did the next morning:

Could have been catastrophic failure!

I'll have the new OEM chain and tensioner tomorrow. As well as the k20z3 upper chain guide.

Civic Savior: I was unable to do anything with the exhaust due to this. And I probably won't get to it until this weekend. I am trying though lol.
