Hey just wanted to let you know that, that colour is not purple... its a red that just happens to look purple

If it looks purple, then to me its Purple.
I know the official color code is Camellia Red Pearl, However to me, as well as everyone else who looks at it, it looks Purple, Therefore I call it a Purple Car.

I also got a D15z1 Block in part trade for putting a LSD into a Transmission. I will be Building it for Boost .

After doing alot of Searching It seams the D15z1 has Rods that are 137mm Long just like the JDM D15b and D16 Motors, However the crank on the JDM D15b is 45mm Journals instead of the 42mm Journals on the D15z1. So If I Shim the Crank Side I Should be able use Forged JDM D15b or D16 Rods.

Therefore my Current plans are to are to get Forged JDM D15b or D16 Rods, and reuse the low compression d15z1 pistons. That is unless I get a good deal on pistons with forged rods. Then shim the crank to accept the new Rods, and swap my z6 head and misc parts to the z1 block, then
Boost it.

I have power goals of about 200hp or so, I know i can get away with it on stock internals, but chances are I will want more when I get there so I might as well build it up for more.

Other Thoughts have Included Putting Forged Rods into my D16z6 and Make More Single Cam Power.

I have also been thinking Greatly about fixing my Body and Unibody Damage and Respray my Civic Black Berry Pearl from the 08 Fit Sport

- Wed Jan 07, 2009 7:25 am #87334 During the Winter "Storm" we had in Washington in Late December/early Jan where we had tons of snow that we normally don't. I decided to go out and play in the snow. During that I broke something in the Shift Mechanism. I only have first gear. I cant shift into anything else. The shift linkage is good, I broke something inside the transmission.

I decided It was time to Rebuild the transmissions I have sitting my Garage for a while. One had a Bad 1st and 2nd. the other had a bad 3rd and 4th. So I swapped the approate gears. and made one good transmission.

This is what I believe I broke in my other transmission:

This is basically what the shifter moves and pushed up and pulls down on levers to shift gears. Pretty sure this is whats broken on the other transmission.

I will be putting the other half back on and seal up this transmission, then swap it into my Coupe. I will then crack open the seal on my broken transmission to see what broke. Should be interesting.

This is what is left of the bolt that broke.

I just put my transmission all back together. However its now leaking oil and
it is causing my clutch to slip when shifting at high RPM's.

I am live near Olympia, Wa.

- Mon Feb 09, 2009 8:03 am #95167 After fixing my Transmission and before finding out I have rod knock and then parking my car I put my Ls webs wrapped with Toyo Proxie4's back on and took some pics. The car was still dirty from driving in the shitty winter roads and being worked on, you can still see greasy hand prints on the fender. I was going to wash it up and do a full photoshoot then got Rod knock, that kinda pushed those plans back.



Used this one for my Signature.

how bad is the rod knock? un-driveable?

and i havent bothered washing the rig since the wicked snowstorm we had, so no worries there, and how do you like those proxie's? i don't think they do that well in the rain...

Rodknock is just in beginning stage. Just bad bearings at this point. I will be pulling the pan Wednesday and hopefully fixing the bearings, thus fixing knock. Or so I hope anyways. I have been wanting to get an Engine with a Second Cam. If everything goes according to plan, after I get my tax return I will drop in a B, Then put my fixed z6, or atleast z6 head onto my sedan.

Toyo Proxies 4 are my tires of choice. I have gone through 2 sets on my Webs, and have a set on my 15"x8" Quantum teks on my Integra. I get them siped and they work awesome in the Rain, even better on dry pavement. I love the Traction I get out of them. Highly recommended if your in the market for tires.

purple lugs look good

I love the Purple Lugs, I think they Compliment the car alot, So much better then just the Silver Lugs I had on there before. Very tempted to do up some Bright blue Lugs for my Integra, Possibly do some for the Sedan if it ever gets Nice Rims. Until it will have to Envy my EJ and DC
