#290161 I want to replace this piece (THE COLORED PIECE) on the frame. :? I would rather not go through having to have the frame pulled if I can avoid it.

Is it bolt on?

If so where can I get an aftermarket one.

#290181 Thats the core support, and its welded on the sides. You might be able to find one used or just order it from honda.

Wheres the damage?

#290184 Thanks. About $70 bucks to replace with a brand new one.

Its just a minor bend on the passenger side. Keeping the bumper and hood from aligning right.

#290190 Personally I would say it really isn't worth the time or effort for a minor flaw.

#290373 I bought some used del sol rims with curb rash and decided since their not on the car to go ahead and try to touch them up a bit. :thumb:

SUPPLIES:

RIM STARTING CONDITION:
Image
Image

STEP ONE:
I sprayed clear coat remover on it to remove the old paint and clear. I then scuffed and sanded the old paint and clear off.

Image

STEP TWO:
I sprayed the wax and grease remover on the rims and tires and washed them thouroghly to remove any excess paint remover.

STEP THREE:
I taped the rims up then primed and sanded until I thought it was good enough. These are just my temp rims so I did not feel the need to be super picky. I taped the rims so they would have the stainless lip still.
Image

STEP FOUR:
After priming I sprayed them with coats of gold engine enamel paint. I prefer this paint over rim paint due to Im not spraying bare metal.

Here is a side by side pic primmer and painted

STEP FIVE:
After the paint had dried for about 15 minutes I sprayed the clear coat on them to seal the paint and protect it from road debris.

#292431 Still working on trying to get the old rims off. They are all locking lug nuts and no key was given. LOL. Thats what happens when you buy a honda for $1000
