slowly but surely getting parts in...just got my NGK wires in the mail dint pick up the honda oem parts due to not having enough cash...but no worries...i get paid on friday :D ....i started playing around with the block...losening rod bolts so im all ready to take them out, hone the block for fresh new rings..im just so excited to actually be doing a swap..haha

list of things done
-clean up hone
-new OEM piston rings
-new ACL rod bearings
-new OEM water pump
-new OEM timing belt / tensioner
-NGK iridium spark plugs and wires
-did a valve adjustment today
-all new gaskets
and some little dress up things like the oil cap, painted the block and head grey (guy i bought the motor from had it painted red and chrome??..looked terrible)..

all thats left is the small things to do when i actually put it in my car...it will have new distributor cap and rotor etc. etc.

- Mon May 07, 2012 8:12 pm #304181 update...so my stock motor blew up on me last night...so my plan to do it over the weekend is pushed to me doing it after i get out of work everyday till its done...ill post pics of the two holes in the block later when i get to my car again...but to be completely honest...when it blew..i just laughed..bahaha :lol: :lol: ..cuz for once i was ready and i wont be out of a car for TOO long

yea..i knew this was goin to happen thats why i even started on my mini swap..other wise i would have just saved up to do my LS turbo..
