#313312 Im planning on getting buddy club ball joints once mine go out too. Is it hard to replace them? like did you have to use a press? Cause thats the only way I know of and I dont have a press lol.

#313319 You dont need press, but its easier if you have it.

This is how i did mine:

Just put the whole hub to the bench, hammer out the old balljoint and press the buddyclub one in like this.

Tips: Put the new balljoint to the freezer, and install it when its cold. In a same time the hub needs to be warm/hot.

Honestly I was tired of looking for a spot to rent me a press and most charged too much I just ended up taking them to a shop :P

#313323 Been awhile since I updated my thread got more goodies and installed some things while the motor was out so it wouldn't be a hassle later.
I also have ARP headstuds and OEM Y8 headgasket but ill throw that on when I upgrade the valves and cam

But school starts in 2 weeks and I'm pressed for time I want to get my car going and need to get the a/c recharged hopefully my a/c still works fine

Enough talking here's pics

Image

Don't mind the dirty valve cover :P

While it was out:
New Distributor
New cv shaft seals on tranny
New timing belt
New water pump
New OEM thermostat
New OEM radiator hoses upper and lower (not installed yet)
New OEM flywheel bolts (must for auto to manual conversion)
New OEM pressure plate bolts
New OEM clutch release fork & spring
Cleaned IACV
Exedy OEM clutch/pressure plate
Fidanza Flywheel
Innovative Motor mounts + Innovative Auto to Manual conversion mount
Also going to replace slave clutch cylinder

And its been hot as %$#! Here in California so to make sure my build doesn't overheat I got this :hehe:

Image

Also modified my OEM GSR shifter to fit my d series shift linkage no pics will do later

But trying to get everything connected and finish the electrical portion of the auto to manual conversion having a hard time with that one! :x
Update in a few days also working on re-doing the door panels :hehe:

Thanks bro appreciate it :thumb: I wanted to make my car reliable as possible

And I finally gave a name for my EG...Ninja Turtle...ninja because I want to make it as stealthy as possible and turtle because it took so long for the build :D
