it has its pros and cons.

i shall make a build up thread as soon as i determine what to do to my next motor. :(

buddy borrowed my car, tried to run it with a buddy's 4G63 79 lancer
mishift to 2nd gear instead of 4th. bye bye B16A.

i will make him pay for everything.

former setup was CTR pistons, ported head, EG6 cams, ECU tuned on Cromefree, made 175 on Dastek dynamometer.

building on a budget and still negotiating a settlement with my friend.

looks like you drop a few valves and the engine took a shotgun hit.

engine probably went up to 11,000rpm and decided to snap its retainers.

I never understood how someone can mis shift into 2nd when going to 4th... i can see going from 2nd - 5th, as i've done it myself, but 3-4 is straight down.... to go to 2nd you'd have to pull it towards you(or push for rhd) ...he'd better pay for it

The new motor is on the car already.
This time its much zippier than the old one, utilized some of the old parts we salvaged.

I guess this was a blessing in disguise since I never realized I would be able to build the car like this, We're still going to finish it till next week and then its off to the dyno for some tuning.

I shall post results and details of the new motor once we get everything in order.

Can't wait! *hugs Civic-EG*

well yeah its pretty stupid to push it from 3 to 2, but there is always a first time.
