- Tue Apr 06, 2010 7:20 pm #185897 So picked up this virtually rust free 4dr sedan for cheap yesturday.....and well im quite happy with it. its virtually stock which is good may be auto but will change that possibly later on once i get my car going again.....

This will be mainly a D.D. and my buddy already wants it but until he pays off his tickets to get his license back its mine....(he is probaly the main reason i was talked into buying this car).....

But yea ill give you some pictures then let you know my plans short term and long term depending....

Tan interior at first i was bleh need to change now its growing on me....


Free parts that came with it as well as a 3rd honda repair manual(my 3rd one i have lol)



The beast that needs some work D15b7 bent valves in head (i have 2 heads i can use lol...

ok so my goals
Short term
-Get it running inspected and cleaned up
-get new seats maybe some tan integras (working on getting some now for it)
-clean her up real nice stop any more rust from forming and making her look good again
Get some JDM fogs and fix the hole they made in the dash (getting to take the dash out woot...


Semi long term....
Rear disc
possible 5spd swap....
depends a/c works apparently so not a hundred percent sure i mean i dont use it ever but yea dont know

long term goals a mix between a vti a ferio and a sir......(possibly what my buddy is doing with it but to me im mainly doing what i always do what ever i feel like lol....

- Tue Apr 06, 2010 10:31 pm #185937 So craigslist score responded to an old ad from march 25th on a pair of teggy seats tan. in excellent condition....$25 dallors bought them and man they are in excellent condition. and man do they make a difference over what came with the car also have pics of the aftermath of what was in the car to begin with.



















So yea now i gotta buckle down going to the pick n pull tomarrow for some minor things for my buddies ef and i wanna grab some tan interior stuff for my sedan as well as the dash trim panel as the radio areas busted as well as theres holes drilled into it......

this cars growing on me damn it lol its suppose to go to my friend when he gets his stuff taken care of but idk i think its just because its a new car and its another civic and i love my civics lol

But thanks all for your replies ive really lucked out lately with this car and stuff going to the pick n pull today to find a stock intake just because and well yea some otherthings so yea anywho.....off to gather my tools at 630am est and then do some thought processing.....

- Fri Apr 09, 2010 6:25 pm #186649 lol im struggling with the thought of keeping it or letting my buddy have it for what i out into it etc.....this way i can completely fix my car and turbo it i think id rather well much rather have my hatch than a 4dr sedan....so yea hopefully this weekend ill have the motor in my buddies hatch and running so i can move it and go ahead and work on the 4dr hopefully the valve slap didnt hurt the pistons but if it did well then im doing a 5spd swap on it the correct way as in welding mounts etc..

- Mon Apr 12, 2010 12:38 am #187066 Well i had some spare time today in between eating and swapping a dohc zc for my buddy into his ef so i spent one hour retiming the 4dr its not perfect because with the light i had i couldnt see the mark i needed to but got it as close as possible and gave her a turn of the key....

And.....

well....

She started right up and idled pretty much perfectly timings retared probaly by one or two teeth but theres no dead cyl and she runs and drives fine when cold just when it heats up you really feel the timing issue,,,,,

but yea woot dont need to tear the head down and stuff like that. I dont have to do much now but hopefully registering it sometime this week gonna take the head gasket and intake manifold gasket back keeping the exhaust one since i use those almost every week to every month....

but yea WOOT!!! She runs and drives......might have to get a new p/s pump or lol use one of the 3 i have just sitting around since it was quite noisey but meh i want to get it running perfect first so yea

lol i dont know what im doing rim wise but tomarrow im going to be buying rims woot some nice bmw rims may throw them on the 4dr for now but they will be for my hatch in the long run anyhow hopefully they will still be there....

but on a side note lets get some more pics of her....since i did some work today taking things off and putting it back correctly....

-Took fogs off and did some cleaning here and there also spent 2 seconds getting one of the center console screws out and almost 45minutes getting the other one out but hurray they did not brake nor anything bad happen to them.....



Also took off the shitty intake and put a full stock one on includeing that silencer peice...

Crappy fogs also took out the stupid broken siren horn thing for the whole "security system im takeing out that whole thing since they didnt know anything about it....




So sexy lol

Cant beleive this thing its alot nicer than alot of the cars ive owned and its a '93 with barely any rust i freaking lucked out on this thing
