my girlfriend's acura is acting up. As you accelerate and get to about 35-45mph the car begins to vibrate pretty bad. About 3 weeks ago she had problems with her tranny causing her whole car to stall. Come to find out she needed a new tranny. Her parents had her tranny "rebuilt" Ever since then the car vibrates really bad. Also, her top pulley on her timing belt is whining kind of like a power steering noise. Could that be a bearing with in the pulley? thanks to answers for both problems.

I don't know much about tl's, but is there something inside the tranny that could be out of balance? Or the flywheel/tq converter/clutch? not sure if it is manual or auto....

not sure if this applies to the tl, but I would check that the crank pulley is tight. Anything else that could be throwing the balance off while accelerating only (not putting the car in neutral and rolling after getting up to speed) is drivetrain related. The things I mentioned in above post are worth looking into.
Why not just take it back to the place that installed the tranny? If it started after the tranny was installed, then there's your answer.
The timing belt could be too tight, causing the whining noise. But I don't see why they would have messed with that to replace a tranny.
