#46151 NEW PICS 6-10-08 scroll down toward the bottom of this page...

I love my civic, but sometimes you just gotta feel some torque :D

I have to admit, I started out as a Domestic v8 guy. I never got as far into the 4.6 v8's as I have honda motors, mainly because they're more expensive and more of a PITA to work on. So here is my other pride and joy (which will soon get smoked by my EG  )

DannyCraQ wrote:wow, dont know why you messin round with hondas with a beauty like that

it's easier to make a 1900 lb car go fast & turn than a 3700 lb car go fast & turn.
Although it handles well with all the mods & wide meats, the suspension mods made a huge difference.
It corners like it's on rails, just gotta watch the ass doesn't swing out

it isn't that fast though, sounds like a 13 second car but really it is only good for a mid-high 14 (depending on traction)

I want to keep it reliable, so I am making the hatch my all out track car instead. The stang was too nice to cut into anything.

#46208 I love that Mustang. It does sound real good too, Although I never did go for a ride in it. If it handles anything like your EG then its gotta be fun.

#54597 started it for the first time Wed night:

Battery was dead, had to jump it with the HX

I unplugged the dist boxes & cranked it a few turns to get everything lubricated.

Then it Started right up :woot:

Here's a few 3-4k revs after it warmed up a little:

Today I'm gonna change the diff fluid, oil, and weld up a little problem I had with a MAC H-pipe. the one on the car now is the stock (quiet) one

I just re-painted the front bumper a few days earlier. It had too many rock chips & plate drilled holes.

#57981 glad to see you still have that thing. Nice shot Brian :thumb: I definitely want to get a shoot in while I'm in Ohio.

#57991 You should get the roof re-done in black or something, would look sweet then. I really don't like the way they chose that colour for it from factory. I would of personally gone with black.

What kind of performance does this engine offer to you?

As the above stated, I also don't know why you would be messing with Honda's with something like this... :thumb: apart from the lame fuel prices, this car is amazing. Great photos.

#58005 the engine is rated at 215 HP and 285 ft lb torque from the factory.
I know, only 215 hp?!?!

I'm not sure what it is making with the bolt ons.

The roof is deteriorating, will need re-done eventually. Normally you wouldn't see it with the top up, but I was in a hurry for the pics 8)
