how is the ride with your current suspension and wheel/tire setup?

Only rubs when it turns right.

Its not that bad, I need to reroll part of my driver fender, Missed a spot last time, and it will be good. I will leave it where its at as it looks good and having the wheels out an extra 3mm wont give any peace of mind on the mountain runs.

Car rides just fine. Its on adjustable coils so the ride is just the same. Its a nice smooth ride, much smoother then my friends ek(skunk2 springs on stock struts). However not as smooth as OEM or my Sedans Eibach lowering springs. It Turns AMAZINGLY. when I took it for a little test drive I went through a round about and it was awesome how well it went through it. :thumb:

i'm pretty sure that i need to roll my fenders... it rubs when i turn left really hard, but i was wondering how the ride was with 16"s... i'm looking to get some smaller wheels for a better ride. i have sk2 coilover on sk2 sport struts and it' s a pretty stiff ride, great for handling but we have some pretty nasty roads down here....

i think i should look at some different coilovers?

#180773 Tired of my Torqueless B16A. I figured I would go for something a bit more Torque. So I had a 99Spec JDM B20B Imported for me.

Current plans are to swap my my B16 Out for my 99Spec B20b. I dont plan on making this a CR-VTEC, Atleast not for a good while. I have a Low Mileage JDM Engine, I want to enjoy reliable 137lbs of torque available all through out my power band. I will be keeping my b16 LSD Transmission.

But H2Bs are very nice too :thumb: B20 trannies are

Super Low Mileage 99 Spec JDM B20b 9.6 Compression ratio engine, Mated to a super tight geared Limited Slip B16 Transmission will be tons of fun. I dont need or want a "Built" engine at this time. I want a Reliable touge/track car. Not interested at all in a H2b setup.

I will have pics of the Swap.

BLaCkSiLo wrote:awesome choice man :thumb: although paired with the b16 tranny, you will get around the same gas mileage right? but you will be in your torque curve pretty fast 8)

I should be getting a little bit better and on cheaper gas. I can start out in second. It wont be touching my sedan for fuel economy though.

Drove my Hatch to my uncles to start my b20 swap, I will be starting it tomarrow.

Pics of how she's sitting as I am a photo whore and love my current suspension setup. Cant want to do a Touge Run with my new b20.

I was going to get an LS until the 99 Spec B20b was Cheaper, and give me more Power. A B20 non-vtec with B16 trannys are fast. I saw videos online of them beating gsr swaps. Therefore thats what I went with.

I will let you know she is once shes in, Once everything is dailed in I will take videos of accerlation and how the exhaust sounds. My Palm Pre got an update to have a video camera and it does a good job. Figured I would put it to use.

More then I originally thought.

The Power Stearing mount is different, didn't see that comng, Good time as any to remove it I guess. Quite a bit of the Intake stuff isn't comptable.

I pulled my B16 and swapped parts over to my B20. However on my b20 intake manifold one of the vacum line bungs was broken in shipping.

It's so tempted to swap over my VTEC stuff right now and have my vtec intake manifold with no missing parts.

I havn't made up my mind which path I will be going on. Part of me really wants to put my Vtec oil pump, Water Pump and Head on. Leave the head untaped and run on a b20 ecu until I get the money to get a b20vtec kit and then tap head, then get some good tuning done.

The other part of me wants to Just swap in the b20 with my b16 transmission. That will still be pretty fast, and it will be darn reliable. I haven't made up my mind yet. I will decide before Wed when I head back and do more work to it.

#181515 tough choice, but i would just get the stuff together for the b20. personally and save the vtec for later.

#181532 well its a prediciment...how much and what do you need to for the b20vtec kit? is it just like the ls/vtec kit?

how would it run with a b20 computer in the mean time? i just think that you might kick yourself for at least not trying since you had all the vtec components. I'm pretty sure it can be done reliably especially since the b20 got damaged in shipping... tough choice man :?

I need the golden eagle ls/b20 vtec kit, basically the oil lines and adapter. I also will need arp rod bolts and a p72 gsr timing belt.

The b20 will work, just parts of the intake manifold is damaged, nothing I cant work around though.

I think it would be okay on the b20 ecu as it wont it wont engage vtec and it wont be going over 7k

The safer course of action is to get the b20 in. If I cant get what I want for my b16 long block I will keep it and possibaly vtec it this winter,
