- Mon Apr 11, 2011 11:28 am #249676 Ok so some of you may know Im currently deployed in afghanistan so my build progress on my Hatch is on hold til I get back ( 60ish days) Well one day out of bored I was searching craigslist for some "RIMS" and I scrolled down about 3/4 way and seen "95 Prelude $1000" so out of curiosity I opened it up... car was completely riced out.. but overall looked pretty decent.. engine however blown.. No biggie, so I contemplated for a min decided to pick it up, wired the money to a family member and had them swipe it up... ordered an engine from canada and my cousin is in process of swappin it in before I get home so I can drive it. All I have to do is restore it back to it natural state.. and get rid of all that "fast and the furious" nonsense! Figured I could throw some pictures up! And sorry about the quality.. there from my cousins cell phone.

So here we are...





It also had red neons under the car and inside.... its gonna be quite the adventure lol

- Mon Apr 11, 2011 4:36 pm #249711 I really want to make it completely stock again... It had the H23 in it but like it said.. it was blown, so I have the H22A going in it now til I can rebuild the 23, then I'll prolly just make it a H23 Vtec.

And yes.. that exhaust... WOW!! What were they thinking?? Thats so rediculous on so many levels! Luckily for me, I have a sorta uncle N Lawish who owns a muffler shop... shouldnt be a hard fix more than a $100.

Im prolly gonna lower it and switch out those ugly rims too, put a CAI and some header under the hood to give it some kinda nuts and call it that! Just lookin for a nice clean daily driver... and depending on how I like driving it.. I might sell it so I can get another 92-95 Body of some kind!

Yes but it will def be worth it. Atleast its not some custom color that would be super hard to match.

Trainin up my replacements on our AO and what not... but Im even more excited that my cousin is swappin my engine for me while Im still here so the car is ready to drive once I get back, Gotta love family sometimes!
