1980 Kawasaki KZ650 - New Toy/Project.

- Wed Apr 09, 2014 2:49 am #344290 So a while back, maybe 2 months now, I picked up a new toy to play with. I got it from a friend I ride mountain bikes with and go to car things with. It was a new project I had been toying with for a while, since I have wanted a motorcycle for years! It finally happened and I now own a 1980 KZ650. It is my Cafe Racer project and first motorcycle. Ive been having so much fun on two wheels that I figured I should up the ante! Ive got a few things ready to go on the bike, but I want to get it running and ridable reliably before I go too far with the project.

Parts are a bit harder to find for this one because of the age, but it should be fun to get it where I want it.

are you planning to delete and shave the seat?
