I went to Exposed 2008 with some friends and took some pics....
On the way down:
Then we made a pit spot for everyone to meet up/pee
And finally rolled in to Mid-Ohio with around 50 scions!
by now there was a huge storm coming in and almost everyone took off...
check the sword shifter lol
amazing how only a set of wheels can make these cars look so good.
the wheels were really a flourescent hot pinl, but the camera wasn't picking it up cause they were so bright lol
Now people were flying out of there, as there was a tornado warning and tents & canopys were starting to be tossed. Except for some dedicated race fans who weren't giving up their viewing spot on the top of the hill lol.
Back to the camp ground our tents were ok, most people packed up and left...
We waited out the storm for an hour and everything was good. I watched some of the Rolex Cup (separate thread of pics to come- this one is long enough) and enjoyed beverages. Everyone ducked out so there was a surplus of beverages and a keg lol good night!
There was one disaster, one of the guys who left when the storm hit has a massive tree branch/log snap and smash his front wndshield as he was driving! Somehow He was ok with just some cuts. his xb... not so ok:
