#105224 Well to be quick when i suddenly dump the accelerator in nuetral the revs go dangerously low to cuttin out and then they go to 1 and a half thous and then sit at that in idle and thats a bit tooo high for me, i could understand if the idling is because the accelerator cable needs adjusted but the whole thing with the revs is weird and sitting idle sometimes it moves drastically from nearly cutting out to over 2 thous ?

Also when taking it for a test drive trying to pin it in 1st gear doesn't do anything the revs hardly go over 3 thous ?

#106167 i had the same problem with my 1.3 carb civic, it was sometimes nearly cutting out when idling and others it would be at 1500 and then normal again dependant on the day really, it was the butterfly valve it got stuck sometimes and when i reved it it went back to normal

#106636 give it a good clean!! :D
but em try to tap into the ECU to see the codes because theres a lot of reasons that it might not be getting the right stuff eg. spark plugs, injectors, timing and the list goes on so just see what does cleaning the throttle body does and let us know :thumb:
