- Fri Apr 17, 2009 3:12 pm #111249 Well I am going to deck my head after i port and polish the sucker and im only decking it to make sure its flat and not alittle warped just because i want it all to be correct.....anyhow i was told no more than .008 in maximum on the head. This is going to be for my mini me head swap so i just want to make sure im doing it correctly.

Please let me know Dosent need to be asap since i still have to do the porting and polishing and some more cleaning to the head but besides that I just would like to know a good clearance to go with since i dont want a high compression build to where id need to buy expensive fuel i still want to run on regular and sometimes more but yea just let me know

they should be able to tell you if its warped beyond repair.

- Wed Apr 22, 2009 1:04 am #112295 if your not making enough power to warrant running supreme petrol full time, why are you worried about the head being warped, especially if you think its straight.. do you have any reason to believe its toast?
