- Tue May 19, 2009 6:54 pm #117773 Any one know about how much it would cost to re thread the mount point on the head for the valve cover bolt. basically the threaded whol where the valve cover bolt, bolts down to? or would i have to get a new complete head for my d16z6?? damn previous owners messed it all up.. looks kinda bald in there. meaning reall\y stripped and smooth...

i'm not sure what size it is. call a honda dealership or auto parts store and get the thread pitch and size from them.
