#152966 A Skunk2 Intake Mani will be better then your stock intake.

All 88-00 D Series Intake Manifolds are exchangeable.

If your planning on staying with a D Series for a long time to come then it would be a good idea. Especially if a Minime is in your future.

However if you plan on swapping in anouther Series of engine. Then it would make more since to keep saving up for your swap.

#152978 on a side note, the d15b8 head isn't compatible with any other intake manifold, I'm pretty sure the vx model isn't either.

not too sure about that....

All D series 88-00 have the same IM bolts. D15b8 and D15z1 have some of the most restrictive smallest IM's though, so you wouldn't want to put one on your D.

#153017 i know for a fact the d15b8 is different from the d15b7 the water port on the head is on opposite sides, ill post up some pics in a few.

edit here are some links to autozone.com, intake manifold gaskets.

d15b8, notice the water port is on the right in this pic.

#153037 thats a possibility, but they both require different gaskets so idk.
