SOHC d16 Intake Mani on a D15

- Tue Oct 27, 2009 4:45 am #152963 Ok I was wondering if a d16 intake manif would fit on my d15? would I gain more horse power?>> the reason being is that someone is selling me a skunk2 d16 manifold for 150 and not sure to buy it or not... i would appretiate if some one respond to me .

All 88-00 D Series Intake Manifolds are exchangeable.

If your planning on staying with a D Series for a long time to come then it would be a good idea. Especially if a Minime is in your future.

However if you plan on swapping in anouther Series of engine. Then it would make more since to keep saving up for your swap.

not too sure about that....

All D series 88-00 have the same IM bolts. D15b8 and D15z1 have some of the most restrictive smallest IM's though, so you wouldn't want to put one on your D.
