#160163 I'm going to buy a d16z6 block off of this guy it has a 20,000 bore on the block this seems like a lot to me for an aluminum block. I had planned on putting a turbo on the setup since I'm also buying turbo manifold off the same person. will this block stand up to the boost?

#160169 well if your meaning 20,000 is .020 or 20over this is only .5mm over stock cylender bore. Basicly for every .020 you go it .5mm larger bore. As if the sleeves will hold up depends on what you gunna run as far as a turbo setup,tuning,psi,ect....

teal_dx wrote:.020 bore is 75.5mm which is not excessive. There are a lot of aftermarket piston options for 75.5mm :thumb: or Even vitaras if you're on a budget

What do you mean by vitaras.. the Suzuki? I'm a little confused. :headscratch:

#160245 vitara pistons are often used in D series turbo builds because they are stronger than our stock pistons and cheap, although still not as good as forged.

#160342 ya your motor will work just fine for the setup your planning i had to bore my b18b1 out 20 over cuz i had ridges at the top of the sleeve and im gunna run 15psi. if your just looking for 6-8psi id just go ls rods and vitara pistons and a good tune cheap power! :thumb:
