- Mon Jan 04, 2010 7:23 pm #165724 ok so i posted up about my car stalling and stuff....well i was driving it today...and at idle it fine.....but while driving and i have to hit the clutch to downshift....the rpms drop almost all the way...and sometimes while im driving it feels like something is like clogging the exhaust or something and as soon as i stomp the gas it will take off...i guess it does it as soon as it get over 3000 rpms.....o and this is a d16z6...i did a swap and i was wondering if it could be because i didnt change computers also....at time i aint have the money...so i dont have vtec hooked up or anything

- Tue Jan 05, 2010 12:52 am #165795 your old ecu probably does not have the proper air/fuel maps for the d16z6. You'll need a P28 ecu first. If there's still a problem you'll be able to troubleshoot from there.
