Help!

- Sat Feb 27, 2010 12:27 am #178082 can someone please help, i changed the head gasket and now i have a leak underneath the distributer cap im leaking oil and engine coolant from the same spot i checked the oil dip stick to check for white bubbles for water or coolant inside the oil but their wasnt any sign of it. i checkd the exhaust pipe for a leak to see if i blew a piston but nothin i have a lil bit of white smoke, my engine idles up and down constantly and i checkd for any other oil leaks around the head gasket and their was no sign its only coming from underneath the distributer.

please help me out give me some advice i got school about 45 min away and its my only way to get their. thanks

- Sat Feb 27, 2010 12:45 am #178086 ok it may be the coolant hose and the dizzy o ring that may need to be replaced but sounds to me something may of been warped......and just for your info please only post 1 thread on a subject it helps allow us to get to the ones that need to be looked over faster and makes it easier to help you...

- Sat Feb 27, 2010 6:28 pm #178201 i would check the dizzy o ring as stated above they are pretty cheap if its still leaving coolant then replace your hose or try cleaning the niple that the hose goes on to with steel wool or emry cloth them wipe it dry with a towel

as for your surging idle re bleed your coolant system after you have fixed the leaking
