- Mon Jun 14, 2010 9:03 pm #200374 Bit of a necropost, but since I finally got the money to get a new intake, I figured I'd update this thread. Ended up buying the AEM 22-401P Short Ram, 2.5" piping with a 2.5x5 Dry Flow filter. Beats the hell out of my old intake as far as filter placement, now I just want to see if I get better mileage out of it (so far the responsiveness seems the same, I didn't expect much in that department anyway).



I like the pure chrome look but I'm almost tempted to put one of the AEM decals on it just to prove it's not a knock-off if I were to try and sell it

- Thu Jun 17, 2010 7:32 pm #200826 For spark plugs I personaly use NGK's stock number 5584 v-power or Denso plugs 3132 plugs (these are for d16z6) they are the best

- Sat Jun 19, 2010 5:44 am #201075 You still need to finish removing the stock airbox. that black tubing that is sticking out of the body right under the filter is connected to a box underneath. its tucked inside the fender well.

- Sun Jun 20, 2010 1:41 am #201195 are password jdm carbon fiber intakes even worth getting or are they just bling status. Am I better off with an AEM
