- Wed Jun 23, 2010 8:50 pm #201724 A buddy of mine is doing a n/a build on a JDM D15B vtec. I'm just curious as to what parts are different and what parts are the same. Are there parts that we could order for a z6 that would work (pistons? rings? etc). I've been doing some research and havent been able to gather too much information on this subject. So I figured I'd come ask the people on here cuz I know at least one person will know alot more than I do about this. Thanks in advance for your help. Josh.

p08 pistons use thinner rings than z6, same rings as y7/y8
main and thrust bearings from d15b7/2/8
rod bearings from d16
water pump, oil pump, tb tensioner for z6
timing belt from vx

street machines > dyno queens
z6 turbo power FTW tuned on crome
