- Fri Jul 16, 2010 5:36 pm #204907 There are bigger OEM TB's that will bolt right up, but they result in a hp loss. The OEM TB is purposely designed to have a step between the TB and the IM. This prevents something called reversion, which is a negative pulse wave that bounces back and reduces the air pressure going to the valves.
