#215833 Ok so I have had my sedan for about a month or so and I notice that its pretty gutless its just a stock D15B with a short ram intake and some weird exhaust its just a tube that looks like a mini cherry bomb no muffler out the back It looks like it has a cat but I don't know if its hollowed out anyways it has almost no low end power and it sucks up hills (I get passed by geo metros) this is my first honda but it just seems like it doesn't quite have all of the power that it should it like bogs down when I floor it at like 3k rpms Should I get a new exhaust system? New fuel injectors? I replaced the fuel filter and put fuel additives in it and nothing has helped at all. I don't know what to do any feedback would help a lot thanks guys.

#215905 its an economy car not a race car so give it a little slack.

start with a tuneup. plugs, wires, and cap/rotor and see how it goes after that

#215909 Sounds like the exhaust is not stock.

If you put a proper exhaust system on your car you will gain low end power, Especally needed on a Single Cam D15.

Highly Recommend nothing more then 2.25" exhaust, a Turbo Muffler and a hi Flow Cat. Hi flow cats are cheep on Ebay. They make your exhaust not stink and give you more low end power.

Tune up Ideas are also a good idea. Recommend exhaust work and putting in a true cold air intake. The Short Rams make more noise but loose power as they are sucking in hot air. Put in a Cold Air intake over by where the OEM one sucks air in on the passenger side.

#215918 after you get that stuff sorted out you could go with a shorter geared tranny. it makes a huge difference
