- Sun Feb 06, 2011 4:15 am #237269 i have a d15b vtec with p28 ecu it keeps kicking the code for vtec spool solenoid, but vtec still works. does anyone know why its setting the code and is there a possibility that it is affecting my performance. i have a vtec/af controller.

- Sun Feb 06, 2011 5:26 am #237274 I had the same problem but it wasn't all the time just once in awhile around the point VTEC hit. Turned out to be a loose connection at the solenoid
