So im going a side job for a buddy replacing a timing belt on a d15b7 in a 91 crx. Well that was easy as cake. But im wondering if he bent a valve when re belt snapped ainced he was driving it when it broke. I wonder this because the motor still wont start it has coreest timing. Fuel. Air. And spark.
If I did a compression test would the results be low if a valve was bent? I assume it would but wan a second opinion
I know are motors are interfrance motors so Toni belt snapps while drivib a freeway your bound to bend a valve. But the kid says he was idling when it broke.
