#245871 Well you learn something new every day ... even in other people's threads. Having never done a timing belt before I was unaware of that particular fact. Sorry for the misinformation.

#245883 Thats what life is about, learning new things to not make the same mistakes others have made or even you have made :thumb:
Today I went to the Honda dealer and got the woodroff key. It was like 4 bucks. While I was there I asked them about the difference between the pulley with the hex and the one with the holes and the one with the hex is a little heavier and is the one for the EX model (vtec) while the ones with holes are for non (vtec) motors. The one with only two belts is for a DX and the one with three is for a LX which has A/C.
My car is a LX non vtec, but the guys at Honda told me that the pulley I got yesterday (the hex one) should fit although it is for a vtec enginge.

#246088 I got the pulley back on my car and It is running strong and nice.
Yes, the hex pulley works fine and although it is for vtec engine, it can also be used in non vtec. The only thing is that it is a little heavier.
Today I also got my hands a little dirty as I cleaned my break calipers with a cup brush and a drill. I took the hole thing appart and cleaned every little spot to leave the bare metal. Then, I painted them red. It was an easy job and it improved my car's look alot. :D
