hi everyone, i am at the stage of removing the head of my D15B and wanting to put it onto my D15B2 block. since this is my first attempt, there is a few questions i wanna ask.
1. do i really need to remove the intake manifold?! the bottom nuts seem to be a bitch to reach.
2. what do i use to clean the grease on the block and the head with?!
3. i was told to put black silicon on both side of the new gasket(not head gasket) and this would help creating better seal, is it true?!
4. i read about the removal of oil control jet on the block, do i need to remove that for the swap?!
5. is there anything particular i should be aware of?!
i have read quite a few different write and got them printed off, so hopes everything ok.
but these are questions i could think of now. more should be coming when i am actually removing it later on........
