#256046 UPDATE: you DO need that spacer, as I have just found out the hard way.

I drove the car and after the clutch got hot it was starting to slip because the pedal was not able to move out far enough, not letting the clutch fully engage. So when I have it too much gas it would start to slip at higher RPM's.

So I went under the dash and adjusted the rod all the way to give the pedal some additional travel an thought it was better.
Nope, after the clutch got hot it was slipping so bad that the car couldn't make it up a hill. So I loosened the 2 bolts on the inside of the firewall which let the master cylinder move out in the engine bay and give the pedal enough travel for the clutch to fully engage.

Then it was all good :thumb:
So I want to correct myself... you DO need the spacer :thumb:

I was also told that you can take the s2000 master cylinder apart and replace the piston rod with one from a civic because they are the same size.
