#261494 It only hurts your horsepower WHEN IT'S RUNNING.

The AC compressor has a clutch on it. The pulley freewheels when it's not turned on.

depends on where you live. Here in Florida the summer's are pretty brutal. The humidity is disgusting. And it is not enough weight to even worry about. And you can always turn off the system when racing or whatever.

oh god, you cant live there without a/c
when i lived there my house was set at 72 yr round
and i thank god that my ek civic had a/c

i dont see how anyone does it out there, im sorta glad i moved lol
now i deal with dry heat

and d16z6boy93- well not everyone with a civic is mr ricky racer(npt saying you are) but me i like my car functional, power steering, a/c full interior, stock exhaust etc... so peopl like me dont care that our civic's arent fast or can beat the old granny from light to light... now people that buy civic's to go fast there just crazy... dont take anything agist you, im not tryin to come off that way

i cant wait to move from here. soon as i graduate college next june, im out!! :woot:
