- Thu Oct 06, 2011 10:19 pm #276558 i had a feeling i have a bad Fuel pump, because today while driving my car was studdering like if i went WOT i would only go like 5mph and so i got home and opend the banjo bolt in the front and their was no pressure no hissing nothing not even a splash of fuel i just took my fuel pump out and there is fuel in the tank now what do i do next is there anyway to test the pump?

i dont know what the voltage should be i just tried checkin on google but couldnt find anything

try finidin what voltage it runs on and then test your pump

- Fri Oct 07, 2011 1:50 am #276583 disconnect the plug from the fuel pump, test for 12v on the yellow/green wire. With the key on of course.

IF you arent getting voltage to the pump, THEN check the main relay.

actually that diagram is kind of off... it's really to the left of the fuse panel.
