D16Z6 throttle body replacement question

- Tue Oct 18, 2011 12:12 pm #278158 i swapped in a d15b7 into my '93 hatch.. everything runs fine, sort of.

i'm running a d16z6 intake mani with a z6 t/b. the motor is running at pretty high RPMs. is this due to having a body throttle position sensor? if so, what throttle bodies are compatible with my z6 manifold?

- Tue Oct 18, 2011 11:48 pm #278221 Honda TBs are interchangeable throughout the years and motors(OBD sensors have to match of course). Have you checked that your throttle cable doesnt have too much tension? Set the idle screw? Or even a possible vacuum leak as the culprit?

- Wed Oct 19, 2011 3:03 am #278243 the TB has a deadspot in it. it's 100% the tps. but, the b8 tb doesn't fit the z6. that's what spiked the interchangeable question
