- Sat Dec 03, 2011 11:32 pm #283963 i have a 95 civic esi. the engine is PH16 and ive researched that its counterpart is the d16z6 but w/o vtec? is this true? and is there a way to put vtec on it?

I did some sesrching and it looks like there are PH16 vtec heads available there. So it looks you have some options for vtec heads to swap.
