My Idle is Running too High and wont go down

- Wed Oct 31, 2012 8:32 pm #318944 when i bought car it had engine and tranny out of car, d15 engine.. when i finally got spark its been idling high, i replaced ecu cuz the CEL was staying on ..now when i turn the key the CEL light turns off for about a min or so then turns on agian

- Wed Oct 31, 2012 8:49 pm #318947 it cant properly meter the idle from there with the sensor out lol, so it just chokes out and dies...and thats pretty much in a nut shell

- Wed Oct 31, 2012 8:56 pm #318949 i did the same thing, i had a werid idle and unplugged that and the car died and i was like uh oh....then i plugged it back in and it started right back up :thumb:
