- Fri Aug 30, 2013 1:11 am #336119 It doesn't even have to fit in the tray lol. When I first got my hatch running the only battery I had was one from my f150. So I made some cables and set the battery right behind the passenger headlight. I wouldn't recommend something so ghetto for long term use thouse. But a bigger physically or electrically will not harm the car.
