- Thu Nov 07, 2013 5:48 pm #338490 ok I got a d16zc bout a week ago ran it pretty hard next day started misfiring in high rpm 1st & 2nd gear not too bad but 3rd and 4th will start falling all over itself at 4500-5000 rpm its random not a specific cylinder no cel on havnt tried pulling a code yet checked compression all 4 around 155 plugs look good cap looks kinda rough rotor not too bad got to drive to GA soon from central FL any input helps thanks yall!

- Fri Nov 08, 2013 3:19 am #338504 Those compression numbers are pretty low... sounds like you bought a tired motor. Know how many miles it has?
I'd start with a basic tune-up: Plugs, Wires, Cap & Rotor and see if that fixes it.

- Fri Nov 08, 2013 7:15 pm #338550 i ran injector cleaner through the intake with a slow drip and it stopped so must have had some carbon somewhere cause that cleaned it out pretty good thanks for the input
