#57702 ok as the title states i just did my y8 swap with a b16 TB and now i have a coolant leak somewhere behind the manifold but under neath, near where it mounts up on the block, any help? thanks!!

#57703 and just a quick question but what did you guys use to cap off the vacuum holes you wernt using? i have it riged right now but i am scared its gonna mess up.

#57704 the holes on the intake mani I just used a plastic/rubber cap that fit snug. you can probably find them at lowes/home depot.

I can't see them blowing off unless you're using forced induction

#57826 bad as in the throttle body is not opening all the way when you put the pedal down?

There's a way to adjust the cable behind the pedal under the dash. You can take out the extra slack.

as in when i touch the peddle it lags to open up, ill have to check that out tomrrow

#57852 it could be because of 1-the coolant leak or 2 :the ported tb since air is going to be going slower due to the size.

But thats just my 2cents

yeah too much slack in the cable... had the same problem when I put my y8 IM on my D15b7 back in the day. Custom bracket (or re-bent stock) and adjusting the pedal worked. You can also adjust the cable a little more at the bracket.

thansk for the help guys got her runnign like a charm, i am loving the low end tq now :D i just have a high idle but thats fine with me

high idle can be the TB is not completely closing... may need to adjust the cable to give a little slack. Unless it is a revving high idle, then it could be a vacuum leak or air bubble in coolant
