Im new to the site, bought a jdm import d15b 93 hatch. has an dual carb set up. 80000miles on the clock. it is in stock condition

now the problem, its starting to use water and noticed white smoke from exhaust. Water and oil are fine. think must be getting water in piston chamber, not good.

anyway idea how much should this cost me to fix?

also while in garage what work could i get done to boost the power?

I'm not sure about the prices over there, but you'll need a new headgasket and if the car did not overheat badly then that should be all. If it overheats enough, the head can warp. Also I believe that motor's headbolts are the expensive stretch bolts that are only supposed to be used once because they stretch. But I have seen people re-use them with no problems because they are about $9 for each head bolt over here

It is also a convenient time to replace your timing belt & water pump if that needs to be done. In addition you'll need to remove crank pulley, lower timing belt cover, driver motor mount.
