Hey all,
This is a picture of an engine similar to mine, just wondering if you can answer some questions for me
A) Appears to be a pipe running from the exhaust manifold to the air intake box, is this important? what does it do? can I remove it?
B/C) Again no idea what these are? the one on the air box can this be removed?
The reason for asking is because I'm wanting to install some sort of cold air intake but in order to do so would mean removing both A and B.
Being a carb engine though I'm struggling to find anything that will suit. I was thinking I could gut the existing air box connect some pipeing and a cone shaped filter on the end but not sure if this will actually improve performance.
