- Tue Apr 01, 2008 4:40 pm #48651 No, its a fuel vapor line. On an OBD1 motor there is a port on top of the throttle body. The OBD2 motors have a different purge control setup and don't have this port. So as I said you will need to get a charcoal canister from an OBD2 car, like a 96+ Civic or 96+ Integra.

- Tue Jun 17, 2008 3:46 am #58832 goes to throttle body if you dont have the nipple on the throttle body then you might have a diffrent year throttle body on. i have that disconnetced on mne to but i have a b16 tb its ok if disconnected but not when smog come up
