- Mon Jul 14, 2008 2:55 am #61975 the p06 will probably run your engine. However it will have no vtec(unless you run it to a switch, lol) as well as having your old redline, and fuel maps.
I wouldn't recommend driving on it for a long period of time.

B-Series ECU's will run your Mini-me as well. If you cant find a P28, but can get ahold of a B16 or GSR(b18c,P72) ecu for cheap, Get one. It will run your car better then the p06, And will have Vtec. I am running my D16z6 with I/H/E on a GSR P72 ECU.It hits Vtec hard accelerates quick then my p28 did. However I will be getting it chipped and tuned soon. However The Best stock ECU for your situation would be a P28.

- Tue Jul 15, 2008 3:34 am #62114 P06 makes a handy and safe temporary replacement for a P28. There is no risk to your engine, and I'm sure you wont mind the CEL and lack of VTEC if it's just temporary.
