y8 throttle body gasket?

- Tue Jul 22, 2008 11:20 pm #63017 Will a D16Y8 throttle body gasket fit on a D16Z6? I have been looking for the past 2 days for a Z6 throttle body gasket and can't find one. The only place I have found one is my local Honda dealership. Thanks in advance guys.

I have a brand new Mr Gasket one in the package, somewhere... $5 if I can find it.

- Thu Jul 24, 2008 1:25 am #63152 There are two types of gaskets for the B and D series. One for throttle bodies that have the FITV, and one for those that don't (ie 92-95 Civic vs 90-93 Integra). The throttle diameters are different but the gaskets don't go right up to the throttle opening. The only possible exception I can think of is the CX/VX.

I always just go to the dealership though. They're cheap.
