#71134 IAT sensor? standing in front of your car looking at your motor, reach around the lower back of the right side of your intake manifold.

edit- or does that have 3 wires? if so it's not your IAT. Is your TPS and MAP hooked up? Evap purge valve? have any check engine lights?

#71202 JDM motors don't have that. That's why he has that lip on his intake manifold but it isn't tapped for the screw that holds the evap purge solenoid. You'll need that for smog and it's also worth a few mpg. Get a vacuum t and t off the fuel pressure vacuum line to the manifold. That's the most common way. The cleanest route is to get a USDM D16Z6 intake manifold. It will have the vacuum port and mounting threads for that valve.

Yup, that's what I am doing, got a Z6 manifold on Ebay for 8 bucks to put on my D15B

#71303 i can honestly say..i think that sensor was just left over cause i have looked at that motor over and over and cant find where it would go. plus those gaskets were super thick and when i removed them and just put the throttle body on w/o a gasket..the idle dropped down to like 1700 so when my factory one comes in i hope that fixes it. how to i bleed the air out from the coolant from when i took off the tb?
