D6 - Vtec Pressure switch

Ground wire to ground somewhere good.

so theres three wires?

Ok now which (on the solenoid itself) wire is the solenoid switch and which is the pressure switch? And i dont see a ground wire for the solenoid.

[EDIT] ok i found this also.

im guessing that it doesnt matter for sohc or dohc? i maybe wrong. Im going to check my car right now and see if i can find all of the wires and to which pinouts he ran the wires to. still need to know the colors of the wires themselves.

- Sun Sep 28, 2008 6:25 pm #71808 For the wire colors, I do not know off hand. But its easily found online. Im not sure exactly where the ground is either. But yes, its the same for the D and B for wiring up the solenoid.

- Sun Sep 28, 2008 10:14 pm #71826 Why would they not have a pressure switch. VTEC is opperated from oil pressure, it needs to have a certain amount of pressure to engage. Needs a pressure switch.
