#83181 the motor will crank over but won't turn over and start im not really sure what is wrong i checked my timing and my distubiter came off my other vtec head the spark plug and wires came from my other d16z6 i think it a grounding problem but thats why im here

#83182 Is your fuel pump priming?? Can you hear the fuel pump buzz when you turn the key??

#83189 ok well when turning over dose it have spark? if not and timing is dead on it probaly is a ground. or a loose connection somewhere. or the dist. might be bad....however id check your grounds first. and then try it again then get a buddy to see if there is spark with you turning it over and him watching if there is then you might still have a timing issue. or possibly bad compression....

#83193 you kno how many grounds are needed i have one for the valve cover and another next to the front tranny mount

#83244 There's a ground on the thermostat too. Is the ecu plugged in? (I've done that one before)
Check connections on the distributor or anything else yoou unplugged to do the swap.

pull the plug wires from the spark plug and see if they are getting spark. Set them on the valve cover and have someone crank the car and see if there is an arc.

#83249 yea wen i help my buddy with his zc swap that happened to it would backfire i have video of it on my myspace but i will have a buddy turn the car on with the plugs out n thanks for the help bro

the plug wires.

if it is backfiring it could be timing off or plug wires in the wrong order.
