#255911 You'll need a P28 ECU and you'll need to run 2 wires from the head to the ECU and one ground which will give you vtec. Everything else should be a direct swap :thumb:
Don't forget to replace the timing belt & water pump before you put the motor in... it's much easier to do now while the motor is out of the car.

Be sure to get a P28 that matches your car's tranny (auto or manual)

Wiring info can be found in the mini-me thread: http://civic-eg.com/viewtopic.php?t=10

#256033 ok with mine they gave me the engine harnes. that hooks into like the fuse box this has the connecter for the v tec. so can i use this harnes and not have to wire anything else in after i put in the computer. or do i still have to rune the wires.also there is a extra blug on the z6 intake.and my old harness doesnt have a plug for. this means i have to use the new harness or should i use my old intake. i really need to try to get this done tomarrow so someone please help. also where is a diagram of the locations on the ecu? :? i also didnt relize i needed new spark plug wires lol. also should it be ok without a timing belt cover? it seems to be thing after thing like my old powersteering mount only 2 bolt holes line up. so only 2 bolts can hold it on. the 2 that did line up is the 2 top ones. :?:

#256191 u looking for jsut the pins in the ecu or were the ecu is actually place in the car? if its the d16z6 its just plug and play. just pin the vtec in. look under electrical for that i think? ill check. but you could use the z6 harness if u wanna go thru ripping the old one out.id just check the old harnesss make sure everythings all legit and functioning. u got a pic of the intake thing u were talking bout? it shouldnt have anything different then the b7 other then the vtec. ohh if u havent ordered the timing belt tensionor and wp i highly suggest rockauto.com or 1aauto.com. payed 66 and change for my b7 tb set. but yah take some pics im sure me or someone else will gladly help ya.
